Nelson Gunsmithing is owned and operated by industry veterans Erik Nelson and Casey Redinger.

Their journey into the world of gunsmithing began in 2011, where they embarked on a journey to refine their craft. Over the ensuing years, they honed their skills through rigorous training, educational courses, and invaluable mentorship from seasoned gunsmiths.

In 2019, their passion and dedication culminated in the establishment of their Federal Firearms License (FFL), marking the official inception of Nelson Gunsmithing. Initially, they operated their business from Erik's residence, adopting a 'kitchen table' gunsmith style, albeit with a fully equipped and professional workshop available.

During this formative period, under the tutelage of the renowned revolversmith, Jeb "Cactus Tubbs" Glenn, Erik and Casey carved out a distinctive niche for themselves as emerging authorities in the realm of revolver craftsmanship. Their commitment to excellence and unwavering pursuit of mastery continue to drive Nelson Gunsmithing's reputation as a beacon of expertise in the firearms industry.
