Our lead times are typically short, around 2-3 weeks for routine work on modern guns with commonly available parts. If there's any delay due to increased demand, we'll set that expectation up front. EDC/Duty/Competition guns receive priority. Older guns, antiques, and those with safety/breakage concerns will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

An “action job” is a common term for correcting any mechanical deficiencies of a gun by carefully polishing, fitting, and tweaking the internals to fit and move properly. By avoiding fragile, under-powered aftermarket springs, we can guarantee performance and reliability. This is how you end up with a trigger pull that is crisp, safe, AND reliable.

We strongly recommend shipping via the USPS. UPS and FedEx have unfriendly shipping policies in place that may cause issues with your shipment. You can ship rifles and shotguns to us directly and we can ship them back to you. For handguns, we recommend having your local FFL help you out and ship it from your FFL to us.

Before you send your gun to us, we recommend trying two things: better lubricant, and different ammo. Guns can be fairly dirty but they can't be dry and run reliably. We recommend a high-performance lubricant like Slip2000, or a penetrating lube like G96. Oil as per the manufacturer's specs and test-fire again. For ammo, we recommend brands such as Speer and Federal. It's usually cheaper to find ammo your gun likes than to modify your gun to run all kinds of ammo.
